This National Train Day we’re celebrating our Tank Car and Boxcar Barrel series beer and we want you to try them all! Head into the taproom on May 11th and get a $10 beer flight with the 4 following beers:
Brass Hat: Our most sessionable ale, Brass Hat is a slang term for a railroad official. This light and porch-quaffable ale is perfect for a Texas hot summer day – not something you would usually associate with a Belgian style beer.
Boxcar Barrel Sour #1: The plums from our farms in New York are super sweet and the addition of these in our barrels triggered a secondary sour fermentation that resulted in a slightly funky, yet decidedly refreshing beer. This crisp sour with the reddish hue of plums is the perfect companion to the dogs days of the Houston summer.
Tin Lizard: A classic, no-nonsense American IPA. Bright, clear and hoppy, this beer is clean and refreshing and harkens back to the styles that kicked off the craft beer revolution.
Bahn Pils: With a bright and clear appearance, a moderate amount of bittering hops makes for a hoppy lager complimented by a surprisingly sweet finish.
