Another release from our Tank Car Series has pulled into our Taproom, introducing our Altbier, Throttle God! BNSF Railroad slang for a locomotive engineer; it’s our tribute to the dozens of hardworking Throttle Gods who push past our Cidery every day.
Head Brewer Clay Watson’s trips to Dusseldorf in a past life led to his passion for this lesser-known German-style ale. Not technically an ale or a lager, Altbier is fermented like a lager but with top-fermenting ale yeast. You will not be confused when you taste it! 🚂
