Sunset Yoga On The Labyrinth
Yoga is back at City Orchard and we have our own Emily Singer here to guide us through some grounding yoga. Come out to the City Orchard taproom to attend our new sunset yoga sessions on the labyrinth. Our 6,000 square foot garden space features picnic tables and a replica of the Bayeux Cathedral labyrinth with an apple fountain. Its the perfect setting for relaxation and unwinding. We know that by the middle of the week, life can get stressful, so take this opportunity to reground and recharge for the rest of the week. Whether you are new to yoga or already in practice and need a change in scenery, this class is for you.
What to expect
Be sure you are prepared for the class by bringing a yoga mat, towel, and a water bottle (it’s hot y’all). The class will start at 7PM and will last 45 minutes. Arrive early to mingle, settle into your spot on the labyrinth and sign the waiver. After the class, head into the taproom for a much deserved hard apple cider, beer, or wine. Every Wednesday, beer and wine is 30% off, so treat yourself!
Paying for the class
Emily will be offering these classes for only $10!
You can sign up for the class through Emily’s Eventbrite page
About your instructor
Emily Singer is a newly certified yoga instructor with a background in weight training who teaches vinyasa style yoga. She also works at City Orchard in the taproom as well as in sales. Emily started studying at Black Swan Yoga this past winter and received her teaching certification soon after. However, this was not the start of yoga for Emily. She has been practicing and learning the art for over three years now. She started by following along with yoga instructors such as Yoga With Adriene on youtube during the pandemic. Then when things started to open back up, she began to attend in person classes with Yoga Dragon
“I needed it badly, covid had just hit, and then, I was hit in a car accident. Yoga helped me gain control again in many ways mentally & physically.”
Emily had just moved to the Montrose area where she found Black Swan Yoga.
“I knew I was in the right place to grow and help people by doing something I really love. I want to help guide people and better their lives & future, and I believe yoga is one of the best ways to start.”
Other than yoga, Emily enjoys her days off by working on her physical fitness, creating art, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
